West London MC Mystro, AKA Kevin Amarfio, is back with his latest Hip Hop offering “Around My Way”. If you’re familiar with his work, you’ll know that he’s usually got his tongue pretty firmly planted in his cheek, and is never afraid to have a little fun – and ‘Around My Way’ (produced by Kiss 100’s DJ Swerve) is no exception. Great tune and cool video.

Malicious is an up and coming emcee from Montreal. I’m really diggin his material at the moment so i thought I’d share the goodness. His rhymes are tight and the tracks feature some very nice on-point production as well as a few undergroundish, lower-fi efforts. I predict big things.

Tristan Jehan (creator of echonest) came up with an interesting python hack for the San Francisco Music Hack Day that makes anything swing.

It basically makes any song swing by “time-stretching the first half of each beat while time-shrinking the second half.” The results are pretty cool…
