Passion pit on tour
Passion Pit is an American electronic band from Cambridge, Massachusetts. Formed in 2007, the group consists of Michael Angelakos (lead vocals/keyboards), Ian Hultquist (keyboards/guitar), Ayad Al Adhamy (synth/samples), Jeff Apruzzese (bass) and Nate Donmoyer (drums).
Michael is the primary songwriter, drawing from a variety of influences, from the classic pop of Randy Newman to the synth work of Giorgio Moroder.The band’s first full-length studio album, Manners, was released on May 18, 2009 in the UK and May 19, 2009 to a pretty good reception.
Playing as a five piece live, Passion Pit has already blown away audiences opening up for Death Cab For Cutie, Girl Talk, These New Puritans and more. They’re currently on tour right now, with several dates in the UK… last time they came round was pretty much a sell-out, so they’ve upgraded to some fairly large venues and academies this time which is, y’know, fair enough…check out the dates below as well as a their latest single and a remix ( click the tracks to download)…
